While the iRobot Home app is very easy to use however we've found it be less reliable than other applications that utilize robotic cleaners. It can take some time to download updates, and at times it's difficult to tell whether the update actually working until you see it in the action.
2. Roborock Q5+
If you want a robot vacuum cleaner that can do more than just clean your floors A hybrid is the best choice. This category of bots typically has a built-in water tank that allows them to vacuum and mop your house simultaneously. They also have a number of additional features, such as smart mapping, small obstacle avoidance, and even the capability to dry and wash mopping pads. The Q5+ is remarkably gentle when it comes down to obstacles like table legs and walls. This makes it a great option for homes with a lot of furniture. It's also extremely thorough in removing dust bunnies. This is a area where many cheaper robot vacuums fall short. The Q5+'s navigation system is also excellent, with few misses on walls and corners.

If you choose the Q5+ model, it includes a new auto emptying dock that is designed to make this robot easier to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver, but once in place emptying the bin can be done with relative ease. It has a large LCD screen, which is useful in setting up schedules and changing settings. This isn't a necessary feature for the majority of people however it will help you keep the track of the intervals between maintenance for your robot easily.
3. Narwal Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot vacuum and mop that's impressively intelligent in its mopping and vacuuming capabilities. Its design and features are some of the best on the market however it's expensive.
Its base station looks good and hides it when not in use, and the size is quite compact. But the station's main selling factor is its ability to automate various tasks and functions that most other robots leave to you. It can store clean and dirty water, electrolyzes and heats the water (which the majority of other robots require you to do) also emptying the dustbin after vacuuming, and ensures that your robot fully charged and clean.
Its vacuuming capabilities are impressive, too. It's one of the only robovacs that I've tested that does very well at picking up debris on bare floors, and it's not nearly as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot the 900 series.
The Freo X Ultra is not free of faults, especially in the area of navigation. Its laser sensors and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable as other robotvacs. This means it could get stuck or confused in certain areas or rooms in the home. It can't climb stairs as well as some competitors, and doesn't come with a dock that allows you to create an exclusive cleaning zone for plush carpets.
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is an excellent option for those looking for a robot vacuum that does it all.
If you're looking for a way to save money or don't mind the limitations of the robot, there are many other options on the market. A lot of eufy models are substantially less.
